Recent Works for Public & Private Spaces

Here's highlights of some recent work that's kept me off the street for the last 2 years. What really thrills me is the variety of media, from designing a coffee bag to backlit murals on a cruise ship. And, of course some interesting commissions in fabric collage tapestry.

Location: Italy

Description: Each 5'x6' panel is LED backlit, installed in recessed walls, adorning the passageway to the dining room on Costa Cruise Lines' new Favalosa cruise ship.

Location: Lafayette Hill, PA

Description: This 6.5'x10' tapestry hangs in the lobby at Or Ami. Focused around ECCLESIASTES 7:1, the colors and figures demonstrate the power of Friendship, Community and Faith.

Description: From the 'Spirit of the Child' tapestry series, based on the 10 Rights of the Child. This is a 5'x4' variation on a tapestry celebrating the right of a child to be loved.

Description: This 7'x5' tapestry is based on the limited edition tapestry, 'Arcadia'. The client customized the piece to depict the four seasons.

JAAMM Festival

Jamming at a high altitude.

Client: Mizel Arts & Culture Center

Location: Denver, CO

Description: This design was used for promotional posters and tote bags given away at an event in October 2010. Artists, writers, musicians and performers from all over the world gathered for a jamming festival, taking their talents to a high altitude.

Description: Some of us remember the unique Horn & Hardart restaurants where you could enjoy tasty sandwiches and coffee from glass boxes. A place where people from all backgrounds could come together. This is reflected on this package design.
